Well last week was a bomb – only had a winning percentage of 54%.  More respectable news was that I correctly predicted the spread in 4 of the 15 games.  Time to recycle to old model crystal ball I guess.

This past week Saginaw was up and down – opposite to the way that I thought they would perform.  I also predicted against my hometown Icedogs – they seem to be putting things together better these days.

This upcoming week will have the Greyhounds (recently acknowledged with an honorable mention in the CHL top ten rankings) on the road vs. tough Eastern Conference teams at Barrie, Peterborough and finally Oshawa. The 67’s take their game on the road with stops at Niagara, Erie and Guelph.  Plymouth plays at North Bay and then Barrie.

Some of the stronger matchups this week include Oshawa at London on Friday night and Kingston at Owen Sound on Saturday night.

My predictions for the upcoming week:

Thursday Oct. 17 Ottawa 3 at Niagara 4, Plymouth 2 at North Bay 5, Miss 2 at Pbo 3, Saginaw 2 at Sarnia 4, Guelph 4 at Windsor 3 (OT), SSM 5 at Barrie 3

Friday Oct. 18 Belleville 2 at Erie 6, OS 4 at Sarnia 1, Niagara 2 at Guelph 6, Kingston 6 at Kitchener 2, Oshawa 2 at London 4, Plymouth 4 at Sudbury 1

Saturday Oct 19 Ottawa 0 at Erie 3, Belleville 3 at Niagara 1, Miss 1 at Sudbury 4, SSM 4 at Pbo 2, London 6 at Windsor 2, Sarnia 2 at Saginaw 5, Plymouth 0 at Barrie 2, Kingston 5 at Owen Sound 3

Sunday Oct 20 Ottawa 2 at Guelph 6, SSM 2 at Oshawa 1, Guelph 4 at Kitchener 3 (OT)
