Last week we predicted 15 of 25 games correctly – but only 4/25 with the correct spread.  A few of our shutout predictions were actually reversed ....sigh.  Back on the horse again – not the hearse. I can’t keep up with my hometown Icedogs – one week I predict them to lose all their games and they win all three – this past week I predict them to take 2 of 3 and they lose all 3 goals (albeit by one goal, but still ...).

No scary games to report on for Halowe’en night (good move by the league – too many younger fans busy with stuff). This week Sarnia hosts 2 teams from great distances – Sault Ste Marie and Sudbury. Oshawa against Kingston on November 2 is a must see game as two of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference tangle.  Guelph goes to Peterborough and then hosts Sudbury and the last place Kitchener Rangers. Ottawa has one of the lighter schedules – after last night’s thumping at home vs. Kingston, they are in action on Nov 2 at Peterborough.  Erie ventures into Niagara to tangle with the Icedogs and then hopes to push around the Knights the next night in London.
