We got ‘back on the horse’ yesterday with our predictions by being correct on 6 games (even predicted the Saginaw OT win) and wrong on 2 games.

Pictured is Ottawa’s Sean Monahan who will be in action today vs. Sudbury.  He has a team leading 8 points with a goal in each of his last two games.

Sudbury at Ottawa

Sudbury (4-3-0) defeated the Kingston Frontenacs 3-2 last night, in a 3rd period comeback. Sudbury took advantage of the Fronts, who were playing their 3rd game in 3 days, including 2 road games, and dominated in the 3rd period.  Lead by veterans Nathan Pancel, Mathew Campagna, and Leaf's prospect, Josh Leivo, the Wolves outworked the Fronts to get a second straight road win on their Eastern trip. The Wolves beat Peterborough on Thursday night 4-1. Rookie goalie, Taylor Dupuis, looked good in both games.

The 67's (1-4-0) are coming off a 5-3 loss in Belleville last night. Ottawa's rookie goalie, Jacob Blair, kept the score closer than it should have been, stopping 41 of 46 shots fired his way.  Steven Janes, with his first of the season, Sean Monahan, and Brett Gustavsen scored for Ottawa.

The 67's are in desperate need of a win, but it won't be easy.  The Wolves are a fast, energetic team, who drive to the net well. Expect the 67's leaders to answer the bell in this one.
