Mathew Campanga: Recently had an 18 game point streak that was snapped which is the longest in the OHL this season. His emergence along with that of 2013 draft eligible Nicholas Baptiste has spurred the Wolves to their recent hot streak.

Matt Schmalz: Came over in the Leivo trade with Kitchener, he was the Rangers 1st round pick in 2012. Scored 1 goal in 25 games with Kitchener and already has one in 5 with the Wolves. Watch for him to develop into a top forward with the Wolves over the next few years.

Windsor Spitfores Friday January 25th

2012-13 Record Overall/Home(19-19-1-6)(6-13-1-3)

-        It will be Windsor’s 2nd game in a row as they have a Thursday night home day with the Plymouth Whalers

-        Hounds are 1-3 against the Spits this year being outscored 14-12 in the process.

-        Last game just before the Christmas break saw some fireworks near the end of the game as Cousins took a big slash.

-        The Spits PP ranks 8th at 21% on the road they rank 6th coming in at 21.4%

-        The Spits PK ranks 10th 79.5% while on the road they 12th at 76.3%

-        Top deadline acquisition Slater Koekkoek is out for the year after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Michael Dal Colle: The Gens 2012 1st round pick has really taken advantage of the opportunity given to him. With 11g and 21a he currently sits 4th in rookie scoring and 3rd among 2012 draft picks.

Bold Prediction of the Week

Tyler Ganly will score his first goal of the season this week. I got my last Bold prediction right 2 weeks ago when I called for Horvat’s point streak to end. Let’s see if I can start my own streak here.
